Anne Phillips, OGS - Sunsetting of Procurement Lobbying Law

Anne provided a detailed overview of the current Lobbying regulations.j Audience members had several questions about the process, and Anne shared her interpretation of the regulations on these topics.

Steve Hensel, Commission on Public Integrity. Perspectives and recommendations on Procurement Lobbying Law.

Steve began with a statement that the lobbying regulations were put in place with the intent to provide transparency into how the state makes decisions. He said the restricted period begins when a written communication is issued stating that an agency is taking on a procurement. Many questions were asked. A solid debate of the topic.
