Meeting Minutes

8/20/2009 9:00 a.m.

The IT Greening Committee met at the Forum offices at 24 Aviation Road, Albany at 9:00 a.m. August 20, 2009. In attendance were: Christian Grieco, Carter Yepsen, and Peter Hilton. Taking part by phone were Ken D?Amato and Brian Duffy.

A session was discussed for either November 17, 18 or 19 on the Smart Grid and specifically to discuss the project by the State of Missouri. This is a little general but there are things that utilities can offer to customers with the Smart Grid. For IT shops it may be helpful to become aware of them so that strategic planning can anticipate what might be offered. Carter will follow up on who would make appropriate speakers.

Phase 2 of stimulus incentives were approved, but all of the money was spent in Phase 1, making the whole thing moot.

The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday September 10 at 10:00 at the Forum offices. Usually, meetings are planned for the second Thursday of each month at 9:00.
