  • Update on Strategic Planning Collaborative
    • Mike Donovan and Tim Jaques working on content. 5 sessions - initial session appears to be 3 hours at this point, each subsequent session would be 2 hours. Participants would be walking out with either a plan or something very close to a plan. Have a template of a plan, each session will walk thru each stakeholders, managing the executive in the organization, managing the key players, in order to get their feedback and input to developing the plan. Good conversation across organizations, networking in organization.
    • Have high level design done. Currently developing the first couple sessions
    • Discussed how to invite - will send to list serves, co-chairs, Forum will assist with this as well
    • Possible Locations - Military Affairs? Could accommodate approx 30 people
    • What is the least number of participants we want to offer to?
    • Schedule should be appropriately spaced to keep momentum, but offer time for participant to complete homework (networking amongst their organization)
    • Webcasting not yet available for these sessions
    • Want to provide a schedule list of dates for invite
    • How will handle documents/handouts - will they be available? Will likely make available on website for participant to print their own copy prior to session
    • There will be a maximum number on participants. First come first served idea.
    • Will participants phone if they cannot make it? This may not be applicable for all sessions.
