On August 17, 2011 The NYS Forum, Inc. held its annual planning session. Attendees learned about the progress of The Forum's strategic planning efforts and the proposed goals, objectives and strategies for the next two to three years. During the planning session, participants had the opportunity to provide input and suggest specific tasks, tools and partnerships that should be considered as we prioritize, refine and implement The Forum's Strategic Plan. The contributions and suggestions received reinforce the need to focus our efforts to remain relevant; strategically align our efforts with the state's IT priorities and the needs of key stakeholders; and, continually assess the value and impact of our efforts.
The summary document is a compilation of all of the input received from participants on August 17, 2011. If a suggestion was not identified as linked to a specific strategy, we made an effort to categorize the idea. With the exception of minimal categorization, the comments are unedited to reflect the views and efforts of our members.
