
MetroNY Program Launch
The New York State Forum and the NYC Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications (DoITT) are pleased to offer this first meeting of MetroNY, a collaborative effort of the two organizations. The MetroNY initiative is designed to extend the benefits of The NYS Forum's IT Corporate Roundtable, which is the foundation of a productive government/corporate knowledge transfer program that began in Albany with New York State government IT leadership. This extension of the IT Corporate Roundtable to the MetroNY area is being done to support city government technology and telecommunications initiatives and to afford insights into the implications that new technologies hold for government cost-savings, transparency and engagement of constituents.
