Keynote - Steve Kolodney, Vice President, Government, CGI-AMS

Steve Kolodney is Vice President, Government, at CGI-AMS where he leads the California state government practice. In addition, Kolodney consults with Chief Information Officers across the country on using information technology to improve the delivery of services at lower cost. He has helped a number of states develop their strategic plans and he is working to bring CGI's Web-based, government transformation solutions from Canada and Britain to the states.

Prior to joining CGI-AMS, Kolodney served as director of the Washington State Department of Information Services. He was Washington's Chief Information Officer and a member of the Governor's Cabinet. Governing magazine named Kolodney as one of its Public Officials of the Year 2000, citing Washington for the "finest information technology system in any state government in America."
