Session Overview
Presented by The NYS Forum Emerging Technologies Work Group
This past year we have seen tremendous growth in adoption and the plan to adopt Web 2.0 tools in the public sector. We know of over 20 New York state and municipal organizations currently using the Web 2.0 tools for enhancing communications and collaboration. The March 2010 Emerging Technologies session focused on the benefits of Web 2.0. This session will focus on the questions we have received from you, The NYS Forum community.
This seminar will include:
- A presentation from The Center for Technology in Government (CTG) on the CTG Social Media Project findings
- A panel comprised of agency representatives experienced with Web 2.0 tools
- Q&A period with the panel
- AND, we have set aside time at the end of the session for you to have the opportunity to exchange information with the other attendees
